eVolve Content Management System

CMS provides a powerful content editing interface - eVolve CMS Desk. It allows users to edit content, preview it before publishing, organize site structure and manage extending modules.

Similar to MS Outlook, the content is organized into a tree hierarchy of documents (pages). The hierarchy (content tree) represents the site map and the navigation structure.

Page templates created by web designers can be re-used by content editors for several pages with same layout. Page templates can either contain editable regions where content editors enter the text or they can display structured documents You can specify when the document should be published and when it expires. A document can be archived so that it’s no longer displayed on the web, but it’s still stored in the content repository.

eVolve (WYSIWYG) Content Editor

The built-in WYSIWYG editor is fully integrated into the system.

It enables content editors to edit content like if they were using MS Word. It features:
  • basic or advanced formatting
  • insertion of uploaded images and Flash movies
  • linking to other pages or external files and sites

News

The News Module is used to quickly and easily add information that needs to be announced on your site. Examples of this are press releases, company announcements, new business partnerships, and new hires; in fact almost anything that is a list of regularly updated information.

You can add a further details page that can be in full rich content to include HTML, movies, flash animation or anything that can be put on a regular web page. A link to an external site for further information for your visitors can be easily populated if required. You control whether your news scrolls or remains a simple list.

FAQ’s

The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Module adds a fully functioned FAQ to your page.

It contains fields to match questions you are asked frequently, to appropriate answers. Encourage visitors to your site to help themselves before calling your support line.

New FAQ items can be added in just a couple of minutes and builds into a useful customer service tool. When a question is selected, the answer pops open. Several questions can be opened at once allowing the user to view the detail level of several items at once.

Contact Us Form

The Contact Us form places a pre-designed form onto the page.

Visitors to your site can use this form to easily send a message to the site Administrators.
